I dunno, Lady B. Jerry Jones was adamant about not firing Phillips in favor of Garret, and for all intents and purposes, Phillips had a great year. He tied the Cowboys all-time best season ever (13-3) and the team broke all sorts of franchise records.
Now, if he goes to the post season again this year and does not come back with a win, then maybe I'd start worrying. But for now I think he's safe.

I almost feel bad for Coach Phillips, to know he is almost certainly not going to be the head coach beyond next season.
Ho much would that suck, knowing your job is going to end and there's nothing in the world you can do about it?
