I just wanted to say that I am seriously giving myself the creeps.
My WIP is keeping me up nights, and I don't mean because I am excited and thinking up ideas (although that is also true), but because what happened to one of the people in my book actually scared me.

more details!
oooooo.... that's almost awesome. i say almost because for some reason, when i get too close to my characters, i get too scared to do anything terrible to them, like i get this weird feeling like i'm playing god, and somewhere in the world, something similarly terrible will happen to someone in a similar situation. maybe even to someone i know.
Cool. What happened to said character? I like to manipulate my characters, but usually they write their own fates and stories, etc...lol. I just sit back and watch...
....sorry moonrat and demon. Ain't tellin'. At least, not yet.
But it's not pretty.
Nope nope.
Awww, the little horror writer scared himself. How cute. *wink*
At least your WIP is keeping you up nights for the right reason. :P
Wish I could say the same for my first draft. It keeps me up for all the wrong reasons.
But seriously, all the best with your WIP. If it can scare even you, it must be good stuff.
Your own work scared you? Awesome! Hurry up and finish so we can all find out why!
I'm a night person anyway, so everything keeps me up at night. Although, if I think far enough back, I believe it was writing that started me that course!
You scared yourself, even?
Nice.
That totally means you are on the right track!
Cool Beans! I love it when that happens. I know things are rockin' and rollin' when the story takes on a life of its own and surprises me -- had several twists in my recently completed rough draft which shocked the crud outta me.
