My ARC Collection Grows With Adrienne Kress's Alex and the Ironic Gentleman (Ted, for short)

Got this in the mail today. Ain't it purty? I have to say, this is an extremely nice-looking ARC. Beautifully done. I can't wait to read it (which I am going to start doing tonight). Review to follow, of course. :)

It looks, excellent, David. How do you get so many ARC's? Hmmm? Tell us your secret...

I'd like to say it's from shmoozing with the authors, but I'd be lying. I cheated on both and got 'em from Ebay. I don't feel too bad, though, because I have the regular (hardcover) edition preordered through Amazon.

I commented on Adrienne's blog when she first posted her cover art, but it really is fabulous and compelling. I know so many first-time authors who got either bad or at best, neutral covers. This one (and Pat's since we are on the subject) are excellent. I hope this great luck holds out for both of them!!

Aprilynne,

It really is very nice. The pic doesn't do it justice at all.

The one you have is the American release. It's sort of funny but to me it looks more British than the UK version - which looks American! I'm sure Ted is going to be wonderful whatever nationality he takes!

I'm glad you got it.
So did we!

Just wanted to check in and see how your book is doing.

Wow, that's a nice one, Dave. Oh, okay, so that's how you got them. Cheater!
